No offense but growing a rtc to 20" in a 18" wide tank......not the best idea.

My tank is 20" wide..

you dont plan to keep him ey long then jakob. my first 2 rtc went over the 2ft mark in the first year. one of them is around 3ft now. and the other i lost . he is now set in a clear gel block and i use him as a door stop lol

Yeah I know, I hope he will at least last a year

He is eating like a champ now! Gobbling up shrimps! Nothing else to say really.

Day 14.
Nothing new I guess, everything is going well. I didn't feed the last 4 days because I was at my moms, which is actually good because I don't want him to grow up too quick. I will do w/c tomorrow and will get pics soon.
