So don't worry about your parameters, bully tank mates, or that the tank may not be cycled? I don't see a RTC in your profile smitty, I might be wrong. I've had a few over the years and they only took a few days to settle in and eat when they had good conditions, when transferred from tank to tank. RTCs are trash cans when healthy they eat anything all the time. I've been through this and lost one because I was stubborn and thought with my weekly water changes I didn't have to look at my PH, just amm, nitrate and nitrite and I lost a RTC when it went acidic.
Check your parameters and then say it needs to just acclimate.
.... yea i have this sump i built didnt have any plans of it then so now im in the middle of trying and getting an overflow done which i am sure is stressing all the fish in there... so i better sort myself out sooner
