I'll show you mine if you show me yours lol. Here's my 16" RTC. He's about 7 months old, got him at 2.5", never knew a catfish could grow this fast.

They don't usually last long. He gets a weekly goldfish snack. Usually 30 or so.

Nice rtc, btw you should try not to feed goldfish because of hte risk of parasites.

I don't actually feed him goldfish as a staple. He gets sinking pellets and frozen raw shrimp. I throw goldfish in every once in a while for his entertainment. Think of it as his "cardio". He's in a 150gal with 2 oscars and a clown knife. I know he won't be able to stay there long, but I've secured a home for him when he gets too big for me. He's awesome tho. Easily my fav fish. He begs for food like a dog and will take shrimp from my hand. He also gets live crayfish every once in awhile.

So do you all keep RTC? If so I need pics. I like seeing the subtle differences between monsters of the same species. Unlike most people on the forum, RTC keepers are caring for true monsters, able to catch and eat almost anything that gets too close.
