Rtc problem

my rtc is developing some kind of whitish thing from it's notsrils. and everything is fine
 
???? Pictures or a better discription might help along with the size and age of the fish and a little information about it's tank and filtration...
 
yeh or it could be fungal growth. catfish have no scales so they have a higher chance of having fungal infections or whitespot disease.
 
it can also be nothing more than the RTC in question sheading it's slime coat. I know at times that can look like a whiteish growth.
 
is it still in a ten gallon tank?
 
Well if it was a shedingslime coat it would have been gone by now so post a picture.. Although a small cut (common on RTC's can look like that as well.)
 
It's a booger j/k need a pic to identify the issue...
