keep in mind when i said my little rtc im talking 18+inches ,had him since he was feeder sized but he is still happy in my 300 for now.ive got a 750 at the shop and a spare room for the adult pond also i have a tsn/rtc same deal same size a blu cat and an albino cc both in an outdoor pond so im not really new to catfish nor did i do a w/c while feeding.this was at about 36 hours after feeding and the first time that "fat head"has ever puked

heheheh definitely not so juvi. The fact that it puked after 36 hours is strange though. It should be digested and gone while RTC wanting some more. Water temp OK? I would not worry about it too much if he is still eating.

Remove the puke and change water a little.

PS: i don't change water when my gars makes rooms for live food by puking out pellets on which it stuffed itself earlier .hehehheh i got clean up crew (army of feeders). my RTCs do not puke to make room for food

Yup, you will have to watch when you feed your RTC and you water changes. I remember when I first got my RTC. I fed him so much that it looked like he swallowed a baseball. I feed him shrimps earthworms tiliapia. I did a W/c the next day and he puked all that up.............Ewwww!!!!!!. I think its the chlorine or chlorine remover that makes them puke!!!!
No actually it's the Stress of the W/C that does it... I don't use any chems in my water and Buster still does it... even at 2' he's still like that... I've come to learn to not feed him the day before a water change and it's worked out well.
