i juuuuuust put the cats in the 240 with a bunch of goldfish that i hope they eat.. hopefully they like it

:nilly: get them OFF THE FEEDERS already ...Don't be surprised if they happened to go on a hunger strike with the tank change... it's normal... it's also a hit or miss thing with RTC's ... I have one that won't miss a meal ... I have another one that tried to eat in the net and I have another that will not eat for a month after a tank change... or even to large of a water change and he gets pissy... :irked:

they are off the feeders.... they are on silversides and market shrimp... BUUUT i wanted to put some goldfish in there to make sure that the water was safe.. and then i put my algae eater... and finally the RTC's so CHILLLLL on the feeders! :) haha here are some pictures of them in the new tank!

and i will keep you updated week by week just like i said i would

they look tiny at 6.5 inches in a 240 hahah

looking good buddy, their gonna grow quick in that tank!

they do look small. but at the rate you feed and they are growing theyll be monsters in no time.

Man, I'm jealous of your tank, whish I got a tank like this and my future wife supported me.
But I'll change her mind one day.

well she didnt exactly want it haha... but i do have a question. since RTC's are moslty nocturnal and mine only seem to move at all when EVERY SINGLE light in the house is off. is there some kind of flourescent light i can get to mimic the dark so i can actually see them swim around?

WOw.. Thats a very beautiful redtail catfish... I had once but was eaten by my 20inches long nose Gar fish... i had them in a 8 feet pond... My long nose gar fish ate my catfish, stringray and flowerhorn...
