RTC tankmate?

You can mix peacock bass, oscars... ive even got 5 silver dollars about the size of your palm each in there with him and he dosent even notice them.

i was thinkin of doin 2 pbass. but arent pbass really sensitive to the water conditions? i would love to have some wild monos or orinos

i know juvie pbass are sensitive when there at a younger age (2 - 4 inches)..
What are your water conditions currently?? Do you have a growout tank??

yea i have a 55 gal growout tank... which currently houses the rtc's. my water params are good and the temp is at 83*

you could try tinfoil barbs, they get pretty big, there fast, and there cheap.

SOunds good, go with the bass, you wont be dissapointed.. although i should warn you, once you get pbass, your gonna want more!!

definatly pbass just for fact of future tank and mabe even the pond . for the fact that their so fast and not dumb, wont get ambushed. lets just put it like this my brother had 1 in a tank with a shoal of 6 red bellies. they couldnt catch the pbass and the pbass would slam them into the ground with ease, would be a good choice, could go huejta pike charican, or freshwater barricude but they are nowhere as active as the pbass would be get like 3 of them
