I'll try to post some pics of your little fella, I think he's almost ready to go so I'll be seperating him from the group this weekend... nice and fat little fella now LOL

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! So effin excited. Mine wouldn't happen to be from the same group as your Evil and Kinevel?...nice looking cats

I vote no LOL I've been waiting on this fish for, what, nearly two months?!?! LOL

Mine is close if not over the 38" mark. Possibly 3 1/2 to 4 years old max. got him at 22" about 2 years 8 months ago. Think he has grown 2"(in girth) this month lol.

are you finding that he's kind of slowed down at all? Just packing on the pounds so to say or is it still gaining length??

I've found that after he hit about 28" he slowed way down to less than .5" per month, but that being said there have been long periods where he will fast, and do nothing for months, and then he'll start eating like crazy and his growth will go through the roof. Lately he's definitely been in a bulking stage, and eating more than ever. Sometimes up to 10 lbs of food per week on his own. His diet consists mainly of raw shrimp, sometimes tilapia fillets, and whenever the store has it whole pompano. He also gets the ocassional hotdog as a treat, and boy does he love them. If he stops eating now I just offer a hot dog, and he can't resist. All of my tsns and rtc will eat hot dogs even if they are on a hunger strike. lol.

hot dogs?!?!?! interesting...I'll have to maybe offer gus (my 14inch rtc) a snack tonight...thanks

Just make sure that you don't make it the bulk of their diet. If money is short it comes in handy though. I feed only about 10% hotdogs probably, and that's enough to cut down on my food bill drastically. Time to get a better paying job lol. With all my catfish I have 1 over 3', and 4 others over 2', and 5 others over 1'. The rest are less than 1'. Feeding them while building them a bigger home hurts ouch!!! Just make sure it's small chunks of hotdog. My hybrid took the longest to take it the first time he tried it, but you could tell he loved the taste, now it's his favorite. I feed him a few chunks of hotdog(about a whole hotdog) then shrimp (about 1.5 lbs) then a handfull of cichlid pellets to round it out. He gets that about every other to every three days.
