RTC-TSN hybrid how are they made

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
this is how thay do it
thay take a female rtc kill it for the eggs
then thay take a male tsn (it will die too)and squez it like a ketchup bottle so the spawn covers the eggs
and that is how baby rtc-tsn hybrid are are made

I was under the impression that a bottle of red and a little Barry White make hybrids.

I know, but I'm not tellin ya nutin! Ok, ok, so they strip(cut) eggs out of the female of one species, then do the same with the testis of the male of the other species, there is a special solution that they combine them in, and voila! Hybrid catfishies! Hope this helps. More than likely both parents have to die in order to achieve this, and it's very painstaking to try and match up their cycles so that they spawn at the same time. Only about %25 actually fertilize and of those only about 25% actually survive to go on for food production or make it into the hobby. Of those only a very small number will ever make it to the size of mine!!!! LOL!!!

I think that is how alot of farm hatchlings (for fish farms) are made. More efficient.
