I have a 96"x30"x24" tank and 1@ arowana -8" 3@ clown loach-about 3 " and 3@Bloody Parrots-about 5" and I am going to get a RTC about 3" into the tank .is OK? I know the RTC can be very very big ! but for my tank size will be OK for years. only thing I am worrying about is the RTC will get alone w/ all the fish?and did RTC will eat lift-over on the bottom of the tank? thanks for help

I would think by Christmas the RTC would eat all three clownloaches which could be dangerous to him and all 3 parrots

thats a lot of space, but the other fish will end up as lunch for the rtc in a mater of months.
it happened to me on 2 seperate occasions. lost some beautiful fish to the bellly of a rtc.

I echo the other comments. My RTC, at 16" (a year old), ate 4 1 foot-long 1 1/2lb live channel cats in a week. Now at 20" (less than 2 years old), I feed him whole trout, crappie, carp, and anything else that is big.
With RTCs it's not 'if' it will eat its tankmates but, 'when' it will eat its tankmates.

exactly^^
u should put that ^ as your signature!

that tank is to small for a RTC anyway

OK! so is not a very good idea to get a RTC for a bottom left-over cleaner fish. any suggestion? and thank`s for reply ^^)

how about kol?

sorry! koi

Giraffe cat would be a better choice although it too may need a larger tank down the road.
