RTC with bichirs

They have been together for awhile. When should I get rid of the rtc? Also I have a silver aro. Would it eat a bichir?

The aro would probably be fine with the bichirs. The rtc though.....unless, you have a ginormous lower jaw bichir, which, still probably isnt safe in with the rtc which also grows really fast

It may eat / attempt to eat the bichir now or later. Bichirs are of good swallow-able shape. RTCs are also known for digesting their prey part-by-part when they cannot fit the whole thing in their stomach but can swallow and fit part of it.

well looks like I will be getting rid of the hybrid cat pretty soon. my polys are kind of expensive. either that or get another tank for the cat. but with a 10 day old new born im sure my girlfriend wont go for that

RTCs: NEVER with cigar-shaped fish. NEVER with long thin fish. Tankmates must be larger than a RTC's fully gaped mouth in all dimensions and at all times.
