Get a tank bigger than a 125 and save yourself the heartache. They will outgrow a 125g in months as well, not years.

Agreed, I would just get a pond if you can. The Giant Gourami and Common Pleco will also get huge with time, however the RTC will outgrow them very fast.

for this moment, due to the server updates since days ago, some of the images in the forum cannot be shown or missing, and it happens to all of us, the good thing is the tech guys already working on it, so the service should be back sometimes from now,
if you want to upload pic in this forum, just use the photobucket, go into their website, photobucket.com, the set up an account, then upload your pics in there, then just copy the direct link address from there and then paste it on the small mountain pic icon you see everytime you post a new thread.

may i ask what kind of filter system would be ideal for rtc when i get him a bigger tank?

No, it's a forum issue. No one can. You can still post pics thought. Host them on Photobucket and then you can link them here.

As for the filter - the biggest you can afford. Typically a sump with a large pump and lots of bio media is the best bang for the buck.

When i rebuild ill be going for a nexus 310 with a flow of 10,000lph then over a bakki shower i know it sound straing but koi pond filters are great

yes you can, just follow the instruction I gave u, I still can post images till now, but only from the photobucket, if yours still doesnt come up, then you still doing it wrong.
