Their physical features are so different that I would be very surprised to see this actually work.
The rtcxparoon (which I have spoken to two of its owners about), is quite an anomaly. Almost all of them die as juveniles. As far as we know, the one that was on here a while back was the only known survivor, and he was still a young one. Behaviorally, he is taxing his body tremendously. He has the mass of a RTC, but the swimming behavior of a paroon. He apparently swims until he is exhausted and rests on the bottom until he is able to swim again. I suspect that this could put extreme stress on his organs. I think this hybridization as a result is cruel (fascinating genetic creation but non the less cruel). I'm not 100% against hybrids, but with the death rate and behavior of this one, it makes me think that this combo isn't the hottest idea.
I would think there would be some serious problems for the giraffexrtc as well. Just their mouth designs are so incredibly different, I'm not sure if they could even eat.
I love my RTCxTSN. However, given the number of beautiful, natural existing fish, and the high death rate of a lot of hybrids, I'm not a real big backer of hybrids.
