well...i had a RTC in FL that was 26" long for years in a 125gal. had the cat since it was a kitten, ahaha...3". I think it's a great fish...if you filter can handle the waste it WILL produce.

I had my RTC X TSN for like 6 months now and it gets fed 2-3 whole shrimp everyday. it is getting big but nothing to be bragging or concerning about.

ppl might think it's crual to house a large cat in a 100 - 180 gal tank but you know what...why don't they go harass ppl who keep birds in cages their whole life...and the birds all need to move around alot more than any catfish...that's my 2 cents...so let the flaming begin hahahahhahahaha...no matter what i'm going to keep doing it, so flame away folks =P

let's stop derailing the thread and hope you enjoy you're fish...i'm sure it'll be a nice piece as it grows...

Ok I really need to change the mood back to positive(dont worry issue got resolved privately) a great seller...shipped it almost immediately and I got it next day...the fish was calm and acted like he was at home the moment he hit the water...

He seems to also honor requests on size variations and other discernable variations that you may ask for...great seller...
 
Im thinking he meant 75g tank "For now" specifically, not for life.



As far as the private sellers on MFK... They don't deal with too many people that don't know about the animal they are going to purchase, im sure they are willing to help, but if i were a vendor, id EXPECT you to know about the animal.
