Do individual RTC X TSN hybrids vary in whether the traits come to look more like a red tailed cat or tiger shovelnose? Does it depend on the clutch or just the individual?????

I think it comes down to genetics - some fish are likely to recieve differing amounts of characteristics from either of their parents. I have a RTC x TSN that looks more like a TSN, just with a red tail and a slightly bulkier appearence. However, the other RTC x TSNs that came in the same batch as him looked like spotty/stripey Red-tailed cats with a slightly longer mouth.
like everyone has said it seems to come down to genetics, i currently have the hybrid cat and its color is more of a brownish and has the leopard dots along its sides
sometimes mine can be a dark brownish color where the spots arent very visible but at other times hes a light brownish and the spots are very visible
