in a year that jar is gonna be BIG so your tank wont look so bare and it will be "spicey" lol. the thing with monster fish is yeah they start out small and the tanks do look bare but you gotta remember they get big fast.
its fairly common to look at newly established tanks and think of them as empty but you have to remember that fish grow. if you overstock NOW you'll have nothing but problems later on.
