there eating hot dogs and gold fish right at the moment and i am working on setting a pool up for them very soon and will do a tank build when i get into my own house there happy fish the far left one is sham-moo he loves to be petted the other two are just comming around to me have had the left one for over a year and the others are about a year
I wouldn't be feeding them hotdogs. It's like us eating McDonalds, yummy but not good for us at all. I would change the hotdogs and goldfish to market shrimp, fillet, and pellet (if they would take pellet)for starters. Do you quarantine the goldfish before you feed the RTCs? If not you may want to due to the diseases they can carry and easily transmit to your kitties.They aren't great for the fish either. Too many can lead to fatty liver disease and can cause them to die prematurely. They are ok on occasion but hotdogs and goldfish as a staple is not good. Hit up the frozen seafood section of your local grocery store, or walmart. I got 6 pounds of individually wrapped Tilapia fillets for 5.99, and a 5 pound bag of shrimp for about 9.99. It would last a lot longer, and be a lot healthier. They are very cute. The one on the left smiles, like mine does, but mine had a deformed upper jaw 
i went and got my filter and pump stuff today to start my 500g pool in my spare bedroom so i should have some pics of that up in a couple days, now i am looking up if i want to try some sand on bottom or what i want to do so many choices lol
