i know about inches only, One year it grows up to be around 18' with good water high water quality, 2-3inch rtc turn into 1ft in just only six months. I Put my 2ft rtc in my 1300g pond before, it turn my water quality from good to bad in just minutes!
I can tell you this when I got mine RTC he was about 6" over a 7 months time he grew to like 23" thats when I got rid of him he ate atleast 400$ worth of fish so beware they are predators they will eat anything that can fit in there mouths!!!!!!!!!!!
DON't get MAD, DON't GET MEAN......Lol just teaseing ya! well don't feel too bad because i lost about 500dollars to my rtc in just 1year 2 months lol.

I have a 18.5" Red tail and so far he hasn't made a move for my oscar though I'm making another tank for the oscar since I won't push my luck

i've had my red tail 1 year now and it has grown form 2 inch to 20 inch on a diet of trout and earth worms
