Okay well be careful. Those cats grow close to 2-3" a month and can reach 24" in their first year of life. They can get 3 feet long or so. They also like to eat anything and everything that will fit in their mouth so it might not be long till your beloved cichlids are devoured in the middle of the night. Just a warning. My advice would be take him back to the lfs now while he is still small. Otherwise he could experience stunting from a small tank, as well as eat your fish in the process.

Yup, be careful.. I bought a 9" rtc/tsn a few months ago. He has grown about an inch a week and already ate a 9" pleco :WHOA:!!!!!!

looking to see if amyone knows where i can find some Cichla Azul. Peacock Bass i want a pair but no one in vegas knows where.
Welcome to mfk. This should be in the classifieds section though.

It ma take a while for your RTCxTSN to take pellets, they tend to be pickier than other large cats when it comes to taking pellets. Also just my $.02 feeding pellets will get quite costly when he gets bigger, I would just stick to frozen/thawed fish, shrimp, cockels, ect. Must cheaper in bulk, and healthier too.

alright thanks, some reason my cat has been acting differently since hes been attacked by my jag.im trying to bring his attitude of being curious and not scared back but idk the problem?

That's just it, he's most likely scared of your jag, watchout though the hybrid will get his revenge, making your jag lunch one day if your not careful. Just a thought but if you want to increase his curiousity and perhaps get himm out hunting more, put the jag in another tank and start breeding convicts, feed the fry to ur cat. Ur breeding them so you know there disease and parasite free and having live prey to hunt should bring his attitude back, but I doubt it'll return while the jags in there. I forgot how big is your tank again?

its like 50g-60g i forgot its plecsi glass, my bad on the spelling.I might trade the hybrid with some chinese fish store because he doesnt seem to be getting better :(
