rtcxtsn

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've seen a TSN, 2feet at my LFS and still hasn't grown since last year. I think he is stunted some random guy brought him in no one has bought him still

first off i agree with everyone else that you are fully bio loaded...... secondly i say go the tsn and dont worry when it starts getting large enough to really put you over the edge on bio load (you can combat this by upping the w/c schedule) it will thin out the population in the pond. :) xl cats are really good at that.

ya either a group of ornate pims, they have the body style of the tsnxrtc but in a 12 inch striped package. or go marbled pim. butif nothing else go tsn, as disk and perfect_prefect said they will think out the other when they get big

im not getting the pacu, this is the stock: lmb, jd, gt, ckf, managuense and maybe a red pike cichlid. no sun cats, and i dont know where to get the marbled cat, im going fishing on the amazon in february for a week--- tsn's r not really as big as they look in fishertman's photos, it is distortion, the fisherman's hand is holeding it out away from him, so it looks bigger than it really is because it's closert to the camera, there are some pics where peacock bass are almost as big as a man, this is because of distortion. tsn's are rarely caught over 4ft. you know a pic is not distorted when the catfish is on a fisherman's lap. and the bioload is not over, i know this because of my filters, my bog filter changed a pea soup green pond to crystal clear in 3 days, this is an amazing feat if u no anything about pond keeping. and plants remove all ammonia, nitrates, nitrites, from the water in the nitrogen cycle, in a bog filter (stream style) there is 100 percent no nutrients in the plant substrate, pea gravel, plants remove all nutrients, and convert ammonia into nitrites, nitrates, and then are therefore absorbed by the plants, the plants act as a never ending sponge to suck up nutrients, so in that, people with ponds using a successful form of plants, like mine, never have to do a water change, if you try this as a filter under your tank, you'll see what i mean, i have proof of this as my water is constantly no threat to fish, ammonia-0, nitrites and nitrates always under 10. Catfish do not grow to their top length in tanks because in the wild, there is arund 5 thousand gallons per neon tetra, just look at bthe amazon river, your never going to have your tank that clean, and your fish will never get as much room or food as in the wild, or as clean water. In conclusion, You'll never grow a real, as big as the wild catfish, in a tank

i cant upload them, dont know how, and y would i take all this time, make up a pond, and have like a tiny 200 gal tank and then get a tsn, rtc,or cross for a tank instead of ask about a tank? tell me wat motive id have behind that

Well if you don't know how to upload pictures, who is building the pond for you?

You can upload pictures by taking them on your phone and emailing them to your computer and saving. Or you can take a picture with camera plug into computer save and upload them from your pictures directly here. Using the advanced reply and adding images. It says manage attachments... upload photos..
