Thanks for the info. He'll be getting regular large water changes while he's in my care. :)
If you keep good care, those scales will be replaced with new one in no time. Those are not permanent damaged. You have a very nice, colorful RTG

Thanks! Please provide some advice as to feeding. Daily? Prawn and superworms? Or something different? Is it necessary to get him on pellets ad if so which kind?

It's all depend on what and how often does your arowana eat... Some of them tend to be picky eater, and some just chow down on anything. Prawn is good. If you can get him on Hikari stick, it's even better. If he doesn't take those, then superworms, or worst, cricket...

Thanks for the info! I have lots of superworms but I'll pick up some Hikari sticks tonight.

I don't think it's an rtg but a Xback bluebase.

I sort of wish it was, since they are much more valuable. I checked with the seller today to make sure, and he says it came from Panda and it's an RTG. :) I do have the certificate from Panda.

Maybe I should get the chip scanned to make sure? Who would have a scanner for this purpose? A vet?

The aro is a bit small for a 2 years old, but still looks very nice. Good color and well balanced bodyshape.

true

abit small but doesnt look stunted at all the eyes are not to big for the body and its nice and fat

the pics are very well taken

i would be happy with a RTG in my tank like this one :D
