oh i see. even banjars got this slight gold colour on their gill plates. looks like mine is a banjar then. btw nice banjar koji. i'll start using cool white light, the banjar looks great under this lighting =)

can someone please create a sticky topic about all asian aros with their particular characteristics; how to differentiate them when they are still young and with photos? i think this will greatly help the MFK people in not being deceived by sellers.

Not all. Only a handful will develop this kinda gold tone when it's much bigger. But usually they are plain looking with coloured finages only.
