Yeah it's better to start with a larger one. The smaller ones can get picked on, and it's hard to tell the genetics sometimes, especially if the store feeds 'super color enhancers'

That is a great example of what a RTGG should look like.

Thanks Steve! It's hard to find them with genes this good. I'm not a fan of the black fin ones, or the ones with thin red color on the tail. I really don't like ones that don't have the blue jaw.

They do grow fairly quickly, but not pacu status. Guess it depends on your level of patience
