The biggest male I've grown is about 14" but the biggest male that I've seen was easily 15" in a 500g tank owned by my buddy VMike. I've used a 5'x2'x2' 150 g tank and 6' tanks for my pairs with success. I was also able to have a pair in my 360g community tank with minor issues as well.

This was my male from a few years ago. Got him from Ewok at about 6" and raised him to about 13"..... my favorite fish of all time. Unfortunately I sold it and it made its rounds before the last owner killed it. I still regret selling him. I had him in a 125g (6 footer) with a female and they were absolutely happy.

House, was that the only male you've had in the last few years? I bought 5 fry back in june from AJ, who said they were from your old pair... I wonder if this is their dad?

I just picked up an RTM . Its only 1.5 inches so I guess I will find out in a few months what it will turn into . Im thinking about putting up a progress thread .
