Really nice fish, guess your glad you didn't get just 7 of them....
I'm hoping to get a pair out of my 4 jags, but they change coloring so much I can't tell the sex.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments And yes im glad i got at least one male out of all those females It was hard for me to choose which female to keep, they all looked great so i left it up to the male to make his decision and i like his taste! this is my first time with RTM's and im glad i waited for these guys. i do like the rio copan but since there isnt many of the blanoco's i feel a lil more privledged

Thank you these two are too cute, i woke up this morenihng and turned on the lights and they were all cuddled up together under the piece of driftwood. lol Yup, Motas are now my fav parachromis, with Dovii running a close second But my top fav cichlids are tied between umbees and festae.

LOL!! Festae are really hard to beat but since ive gotten the location X umbees and have seen the Black Umbee I dunno Im glad i have enough room for both

i have to agree that a black umbee is unique. i wonder what unique festaes are out there?

I'm not sure... I just picked up a male festae that has alot of blue/green to his body. Kinda similar to greenterra's male. I'm used to the black and yellow look or the solid gold, this guys base color seems to be overwhelmed with blue spangles mixed with a yellowish base that makes him look crazy but unfortunately he has an eye problem that I'm trying to treat. Looks as if he may end up loosing his sight in his left eye
