Are rubber eels still around? I had one probably ten years ago and it was a great addition. I know they are actually amphibians and not fish. I can't remember the last time I saw one.

never seen anything sold under that name. Is it a caecilian, siren, or amphiuma? haven't seen any of those for sale either, just curious about what type of amphibian you are talking about
I just looked those up and there crazy looking man but I have never seen anything like that for sale at my lfs

They are a species of caecilian.
They are technically illegal to have in this country if they were imported recently as their countries of origin have all closed off their legal exportation. Have to love the Lacey Act...
