rubbermaid tanks

They are made to be filled with water and have large animals called cattle drink out of them. I think they will hold up just fine.

I know the ones that you would get from a farm supply would, but was wondering if the ones you'd buy at a walmart meant for normal storage would work the same.

i just found 4 55g rubbermaid storage containers, would they be the same as the heavy duty 100+ gallon tubs? I am putting 2 bluegill in 1 55 so would that work? Or should i move them from my 10g when they outgrow it, to the 55, then too a 100g+?

no. I mean this winter was unusually cold going into the 10's (lmao i know what u guys are thinking im a former New Yorker) but there was no freezing and if there was i could transport the fish to indoor tanks. Just thinking about wether to bury it or leave it in shade 24/7? Any ideas on that?

I have dozen rosy reds in one of those 60 gallon pvc "ponds" by side of my house . Pond isnt buried so exposed to air temp.

A pet store in area that went out of business gave them to me. I had planned to breed them for fishing but felt bad and just left them other than feeding every other day.

They did fine at 40 degrees which was the lowest temp this yr in Jan/Feb . I dont know how they will do in heat but so far so good in mid 80s.
