Ruby green tank mates

I understand the the ruby green haps are extremely peaceful, but how much so? Can they be kept in a community tank, or with other peaceful and likesized cichlids like rams?

Well, last summer, I had ruby greens also, a breeding colony of 1-1.5 inches and I mixed them peacefully with aulonocara, but then my ruby green group was sold which I regret. Most of the times ruby greens are only aggressive to conspecifics. But I am not too sure if they should be mixed with rams. You can try, but the water conidtions wouldn't be correct. What size tank?

I'm just hypothesizing the possibility right now, but i guess it would be at least a 20 long.

I wouldn't try it in a 20 long. If it was around 40-55 gallons, that would be perfect. But, you never know, just gotta see it for yourself. Let us know what you do.

they are peaceful in relative terms of other africans. I would not suggest it
