Haha. Ok. Are they they only fish in the tank? If they are, they'll probably pair up once they get accustomed to their new home. Just keep the water temp stable and make sure your water is clean. I see no need to raise the ph if they are used to tap water. Mine did great in tap and bred all the time. When they spawn, the female will lay some eggs, the male will fertilize them, then the female will pick them up in her mouth and hold them for a while. When she's ready, she'll spit them out and you'll have brand new puppies. It's pretty cool. A lot of the time, if I wanted to keep so fry to grow out, I would put the female in her own tank. That way the male doesn't eat them when she spits.
