Rummynose are cool. I also like black neons. There are a ton of other species of small schooling fish people overlook as well...rasboras, etc.

i like both. for colors i like the cardinals. but for schooling...hands down for the rummies. they're prolly the best small schooling fish kept in aquariums. small/big tanks it doesnt matter they still school.

thats a great looking tank. however, i think these cardinals are barely added to the tank. thats why they are swimming around exploring the tank cuz its new to them. or theres something or someone behind the camera scaring them making them swim in groups. they do that alot especially for photo shoots to make the fish school. other than that the cardinals normally dont school like that unless theres a big predator fish in the tank. but its a very nice tank and the cardinals look great in it...so would rummies.
