Running python upstairs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I do have a pump thats 575 gph i could attach perhaps a garden hose to it and run it outside and use the python to fill it up.

The length of the hose and the head pressure of running upstairs is gonna make that pump output very low.

May see if i can find me a plastic garbage can with wheels and i can syphon or pump into it then wheel it outside and pump it or dump it out. Oh checked the pump i was wrong its just 400 gph.

Yes no drains down stairs all my sewage pipes are ran over head in my basement. Washer dryer is upstairs. And yes i live in the boonies.

if this were my situation i would be considering two ideas......
1: tie in to the waste line that is run between the floor joists makes for lower head psi for a pump.
2: put a sump pump in the basement- should be done professionally

Got one of those 4 wheel furniture dollys and put a 30 gallon drum Worked great for transporting water outside.

How do you get the 30g drum up the stairs?

My sink is upstairs and i use a python to fill it up. Downstairs were most of my tanks are i just fill the drum out and empty it at my garage door.

Why not just get a hose long enough to siphon the water out of the tanks, to your garage door where you are dumping the water?

Id also have to go outside and restart the syphon each time i change tanks. I also use a 5/8 id hose.
