RUST????????????

I have this driftwood i picked up like a month ago.It floats so i weighed it down with some rocks but i didnt like the way it looked.So i just drilled some slate but all i have is black sheet rock screws and i know they will RUST.So my question is.Will the rust affect my fish and water paramaters?

Go and get some stainless steel screws from Home Depot, ACE, or Lowes

Yes rust is very bad! Rust can give bad Hole in the Head as well as a bunch of other major health issues including death!......Get Stainless Steel screws!
