I had no idea where to put this since there isn't a common fish section...so I guess here will work. Anyway, today I'm gonna be pickin up 3 TRUE Siamese Algae Eaters. I don't know about you guys, but for me this is a pretty rare find. They can be a super pain in the toosh to come across...normally they are either flying foxes, chinese algae eaters, or some other look alike. I've had them before and they are truly spectacular fish, superb at eating practically EVERY type of algae you can imagine. I call them the algae eating powerhouses...hehe. It gets even better though, because they are close to being full grown at almost 4" right now...they easily reach 6"...so this is good. Good because they are already larger than most of my cichlids, so the risk of them gettin eaten, for the time being anyway, is incoheirent. Another bonus about this find is that they were indeed mislabeled. The LFS believes they are just regular Flying Foxes, so they are being sold CHEAP. I'm not about to let them know their little blunder though. Tis always nice to find fish at LFS that are mislabled and end up being something really nice for cheap! Woot! Anyway, just thought i would share...not that many of you care much...
