Thank you guys..
I think that are too many cons...to be a good idea. I was thinking in dourados because they are cheap characids that I can find in many stores and I can make a good destination after the use. Tinfoil barbs costs more than 10 times and I can't find easily a Tinfoil large enough to don't fit in my yellow tail aces mouth. When you say "silver dollars" what genus do you have in mind? Myleus?
Iḿ saying that he is a S. brasiliensis based in lfs guys but i'm not pretty sure that they are right. Here the dourados don't have that "conical face" of franciscanus, but I think itś pretty hard differentiated both when are youngs, am I wrong? Another think...São Paulo has a much more colder enviroment than amazon basin or São Francisco river, so I don't know if the fishes from North will be ok here, but....this can means nothing. I will try to take some pics next time that I saw one. To be honest...I have no idea if they are brasiliensis or franciscanus...
