S. Florida MFK trip?!

For a couple years there you guys were meeting up in the Miami area and did some fishing. What happened to that? Now that I live in Florida Id like to get down there and meet up with you fine (well I dont know about that) guys and gals. Of course being in the extreme north west corner of the state Im only a couple hours closer then when I was in Kentucky but still...

Peacock bass, channa, cichlids, and all the nice SW natives and beer, beer, BEER...whats not to love about that?!

Its already getting late in the year before the extreme heat sets in but what about planning something for this fall or winter?

you dnt really catch much in fall or winter. when the weather heats up. thats when the fishing heats up. especially if your looking for peacocks.

those are the months its gets crazy down here. peacocks are at there most aggresive in june, july and august

I'm driving down next month even if I have to fish by myself. I might even do an earlier reconnaissance trip. (Btw, if anyone was wondering, I'm in Orlando.)

Disney and Pbass seperated by 4 hours

April, May, June are good.

They are about four hours apart as long as you don't get caught in traffic.
