the 460 and the 500 share the same frame size for the Smith And Wesson. Both guns identical except for caliber size. I have the 460 with the 8 inch barrel. Any longer barrels just looks goofy. My 8 inch barrel makes the gun look symmetrical and balanced. And for those who think Im just talkin out of my arse,,,

looks nice, the more i look into the 460 the better is seems. the 8" barrel does make it seem symmetrical and balanced. i just hate those snub barrels on any handguns. if you know what i mean. it will be my first handgun buy so i am pumped. witch could also explain the initial tunnel vison i had at the store. i for one never doubted your words, they caused me to look into the 460 on s&w.com.

I am glad I can help you out in anyway. You wont be disappointed with the 460 S&W mag. You can shoot the 45 long colt ammo all day because it is soo cheap.

Waste, ammo is hella expensive and it is really a novelty.

You have no clue....... exspensive...my 300 winmag rounds cost way more......

hows the acuracy on them(the long barrel, i would never get one with the snub barrel)

Accuracy is great......especially with a trigger job...some other upgrades would be beneficial as well...
