You can always buy a hardtop. The pictures not mine, just a googled s2000. There are several different kinds of hardtops available.

That looks really good! I dont like it when you see a hard top on a soft top car were they have made no attenpt to make it look neat. Like when porsche put a hard top on the boxter (no not the caiman that was done properly) it just looked like it was wearing a hat. But that S200 looks really good they have made an attemp (a very good one) to make it look like it was origionally designed to be a hard top. Whith those alloys too it looks great.
Is it rediculously expensive?

actually the hard top looks really good.

350z cause I have one and it way faster than s2000

^ anything good under the hood? my dad has a jim wolf pop charger on his. still pending on getting racing headers or not.

ok, so I see that 350z has twice the votes that s2000 does. However, can we please get some more posts from people that have actually DRIVEN both??? I'd like to see some honest opinions about which car is more fun to drive and rewarding to own and work on. I feel like these votes are probably biased by marketing and whatnot. The true test is through driving experience, not "the car rocks cuz my dad drives one" or "the engine is more powerful so its better". There is a lot more to the driving experience.

Seems like there are a lot more diehard s2000 fans and 350z might simply be what is "cool right now." I mean a couple decades from now which do you think is the more likely of the two to become a classic collectors car, s2000 or 350z ya know?

It depends on the hardtop. They have several different styles. You then have to decide what you want it made out of. Carbon fiber, Kevlar. Usually $3500 and up for new hard tops.

To the op. I was deciding between the 350z and the s2000. My fiance and I took a 350z for a test drive, the sales men said to take it out as long as we want. We brought it back almost instantly. The car was extremely uncomfortable and drove like crap. As soon as I got in the s2000 I knew it was a better car. Most people don't realize that the s2000 comes with a forged bottom end. It is able to with stand a lot of power. I have 666hp on a stock motor. My last time at the track I ran a 10.7 and that was on a different tune with only 563 hp. Both cars have an endless supply of appearance mods, however the s2000 drives better and can be made 1000x faster.
