The rams will work with the angels, the rams stay near the bottom of the tank and the angels are mid-water swimmers so shouldn't be a problem. No rams with corys, they will compete for the bottom space and the corys will lose.
 
Ok, forget the bottom feeders for now. This may be crazy, but would getting 8-10 Swordtails instead of the cardinals work out? With that many, babies would always be buzzing around, giving a great diet to the angels and rams. I know they are from CA, but I don't think it would matter too much.
 
Swordtails will work out fine. They might nip at your angels but the Angels will take care of that. Plus there is practically an endless supply of new fish. I recommend platy's over the swordtails because they are a little smaller and not as robust.
 
Ah Sounds good. I was never really a fan of tetras anyway. Hopefully the cycling is done in about a week, I'll post pics once it's stocked.
