SA Cichlids in 30L gal

Given the location of the OP, I was assuming a 30 gallon long for my recommendations. Had it been any place other than the US or Canada (who sell aquariums by gallons, despite using liters for everything else) I would have said 30 liters which I wouldn't try any cichlids in. Maybe some sparkling gouramis.

A pair of convicts would work too ... though they aren't south american. If you want to include centrals, any of the smaller convict types would work like nanos, septs, panama's, ect ect
