SA Cichlids in a 55

im about to have 2 empty 55g tanks, one i already plan on a African tank but the other im not sure what i want to put in it. i really like green terrors but i've been reading that i could/should only keep one in a 55. if i were to do a solitary GT what could i pair it in the tank with, some sort of bichir? also i like jack dempseys and firemouths. i've read that you could do a pair of JDs in a 55 or a JD and a pair of firemouths. what kind of input do you guys have? thanks

would the GT not pick on the firemouths too much? i would put plenty of rocks and maybe some drift wood

i would say something that doesnt get large something nice would a tri of dwarf cichlids..firemouths are ca..not sa...maybe 2 geophagus,.,,,...dwarf acara

I would say do a single GT. No to the pair of JD's or even a JD and a pair of FM's. I would turn it into a community of dwarfs cichlids. Or maybe 2 blue acara's.
