im very excited about the tank. its more than double the size of my next biggest, 55g. everyone is swimming around and the parrots are starting to come out a bit more.
i wanted to add some CAs, RTM and argentea, but people say they're a bit more aggressive and i know my pansy jurupari wouldnt stand a chance with a RTM. aslo the guy at the fish store said the choco was getting picked on by a bunch of 2" jags lol im still looking for some different plecos to put in the tank. im going to move my royal, id like to find a gold nugget and/or a blue or green phantom pleco. right now there is a thin layer of tahitian moon sand. i will but putting 100lb of pool filter sand in when i get back form vacation in january. hopefully that will lighten the tank up a bit.
Most likely yes it's Hypselecara temporalis. There is a second species, but it is very very rare in the hobby, Hypselecara coryphaenoides. Odds are since it was a LFS, it's a temporalis.
i really like that tank....and its even nicer since severums are oging in it .. what type of severum are you thinking???i currently have a 150,75,and 47 gal with severums in them...my favortie fish by far.
