probably the most realistic idea yetCTU2fan;2897678; said:Ya think? The cats yeah but I'd worry about those gouramis.
Easier than a separate tank, you could put a divider in the 55 so the other fish can't get at him, that's probably safer as it's already cycled and running. Leave the divider in until the sack is gone and he's eating well, maybe 3-4" long.
cool how long term is that?jcm412;2897683; said:he will be in a 220 most likely. Im working on getting a 670 but we'll see.
Red Devil;2897680; said:use the water from your main tank for the 10 gal tank..... u cannot leave him in the bag too long.. hopefully you have him in bag in the tank to keep warm... they need the yolk sak because that is their food supply.. when that is gone then you start feeding him... poor little baby..good luck..

thats not a good signjcm412;2897697; said:no he is in the bag in the tank. The LFS guy told me he was eating guppies.
true there kind of weak at that sizeBderick67;2897710; said:18 bucks is a lot of money for a dead fish. I would not recommend putting an arowana that size with any tankmates. Baby aros should be kept solitary until about 5".
lol i thot the opposite i figured the guy probably dropped some guppies in there walked away and the guppies probably picked at him until they got eaten by tankmatesRed Devil;2897725; said:i don't know.. i quess he could..depending on the instinct in him.. eating is probably a good sign if it is true..
