Sacramento folks - new LFS: Aquarium Depot?

Hmm...maybe I can go there for sharks later on the future, if they can order it in. :D

By the way, exotic aquarium is hiring a salesman for the salt department. Toooooo many customers...from what I see on the weekends.
 
I also went to the store yesterday and agree with ryansti as well as jcardona1. The store shows a lot of promise and the owner was very helpful. For the livestock that he had, the price is the best I have seen in the sacramento area. I left with a 50 lb bag of gravel that was only $30! can you believe that? As well as some freeze dried shrimp that my peacock basses love. I definitely recommend people checking this store out. For people that need some info on the store:

And I would have to disagree with big_one about exotic aquarium. I've had some really bad experiences with them such as receiving wrong information about how I should medicate my fish, as well as, suggesting fish that should not be with others. And like others have stated, they are very expensive, and unknowledgeable, in my opinion.
 
Haven't been there yet but I think it's similar to the box stores, you get guys at the local fish stores that know their stuff and some that don't. I'm willing to bet this new place will have very knowledgeable staff and some that aren't knowledgeable.

Wow Exotic Aquarium sounds great! I might have to take the 2 hour drive up there to check it out! The best LFS store in my area is about 20 mins away and the staff know next to nothing about fish except that they live in water haha.
 
gahh! why are all the good lfs in sac! none really good besides twins and carters petmart in stockton...
