RO water would help? For instance I have a 125gallon tank, yes I know it's small for the guys I have right now but I'm also building a tank in my garage, but would you guys recommend like taking out for instance 10 gallons and swapping it with RO water once a week?

Lots of proteins and water changes. He'll be back to normal in no time. Mine went to battle with an Oscar and got slashed deep in 4 places, 2 being from his panic mode. 3 weeks later and in a separate tank, he is great, not even a single battle scar.
