Sad news means new opportunity

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Is that max size? Good size comparison next to a cory, wow. If that's the case, maybe i'll get 2 pairs from these six keyholes and the ctenopoma will have a limitless supply of food hehe

He was a couple years old in that video. He grew just a bit more maxing out at about 6". I had him for 7 years before he passed away. Here's a more recent pic of him just before he passed.

Cteno just ate, so is in good health I think. The keyholes aren't really interested I don't think, but they are sorting out social stuff and whatnot so maybe tomorrow.

edit: nevermind, they seem to be sort of into it. They came over and ate, they are just scared of me hah. The Cteno is an absolute glutton...

Good stuff, im starting to look for 2 now actually

They are actually really common in my LFS, lol, but small mouth brooding cichlids are non existent as are a few other staples. It's really messed up, probably comes down to individual suppliers.

We have the staples, with sporadic availability of other fish.

I have never seen a bush fish though
