2 of my RTC's got sucked into my pump =[ put a net over it now so the other guy cant get sucked in... thinking of getting 2 Paroons and then ill have 2 RTC's tought id share they had such a great personality! i hope paroons have somewhat of an rtc's personalitly also. and i put in a heater now its 74F in the pond and there eating even more now.

or i think i might go with some stingrays?how many can i put in and are they compatable with RTC's?????

i know but it was even sadder when i found them there were sucked up of all there guts and they were empty inside.

i know there like the best fish ever. and you cant find one exacly like the other. i think am a go with 2 Paroons they seem to have personalitys also

Ouch...move this one to LESSONS LEARNED!

Tip...any intake that isn't covered but still is worth anything in terms of sucking in water will eat your fish every time.
There are many screened, fish-safe surfaces to put in place as protection from this again.

lol he was 3inches or 4. am thinking about switching to salt and keepin Batrays idk yet being pulled apart !

Sorry to hear it, but if you think it sucks for you, imagine what's going thru the RTC's mind as he's trying to pull himself free from the suction while his guts are being literally ripped from his body right thru the flesh. Now THAT must have sucked.
