David, my family's name died out in my generation because I, a fecund female did not, according to tradition, pass on my family's name. Yet that blood still lives on (strongly in 3 males -- all with different last names). And I'm willing to bet when all's said and done, yours does/has too. Someone, somewhere, somehow has the genes.

Haha yeah it already does, my half sister (from dads first marrage) has three kids, none with my surname tho!!

I'm in no hurry for kids either, I suggested I start a pub called "Rummerys" so the name lives on for ever!!
