SAD SAD Day for the Wife and I

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
:rip Sorry for your loss. I know the feeling. Had my cat for 16 years also, and watching the cat suffering blowz. :(

Take comfort in that your cat had a good life with you and your wife.

Sorry to hear that xxblwn, though you will miss him at 16 years old you can't argue that he had a VERY full loving life with you and your wife,it's always hard when you loose a pet weather it be a cat, dog, fish, reptile or a feathered friend and the only thing to ease your mind is knowing that he had a full life

Animals seem to know when there time is comming, when our lab started going down hill she always wanted to spend as much time with us as possible, wherever one of us would go somewhere in the house she would always pop in on us just to say Hi and get a quick scratch then she would be off to the next person,

I hope you and your family take confort in knowing that you did whatever you could do in your cats time of need, to help you get through this difficult time:(

Thanks everyone for this kind words and support. I know we did the right thing for him. I can tell my wife feels guilty for putting him to sleep. When she signed the authorization form, she cried out loud that she just signed his death warrant.

It broke my heart to see the both of them that way.
