umm i have a glass top should i still put stuff on top of it???

im scared mines gona jump out now. well not exactly at this moment cuz hes not even eatingyet. but later on :(

Sorry for your loss bro :( Aros are surprisingly strong, as many of you know picking these guys up off the floor while wriggling, they are like one large muscle. I watched my leichardti push open my glass top with a 4ft 2x4 holding it down, and jump right out. Now I have a 6ft 4x4 sitting on top of my tank.

It' sucks to lose an aro or any other fish for that matter.

BTW, what size was your arowana whan it jumped??

I just cant get over it. She got out of a tiny little slot in the acrylic cover for the tank. It is only about 1"wide x 2-3'" wide. She was about 10-12".

The search is on for another... but she could never be replaced!!!

I know how you feel, mine did the same a couple weeks ago. I can't stand looking at my tank empty, it brings tears to my eyes still. Get a new one and don't lose your love for these amazing creatures. Wanna nice Silver, check the Aro farm in Florida thread. I'm making more calls about it today.
Sincerely sorry for your loss.
