Yeah Tiny is mine----
I bought him at the 2 to 2.5 inch mark fours years ago now.....

Becareful of the houses/ornaments-I have had to break a few to get my big out of them....
I'm in a rush this morning-So this isn't long-Sorry-
Feel free to ask any other ?'s you might have and I can answer them later today for ya....

You made the right choice. A longtime favorite is much more important then the money you spent on the loaches imo.

What are you housing tiny with now?

As of right now-
A 11 inch Pimelodus blochii
3.5 at datnoid
6 inch IT datnoid
4 inch green terror
4 inch goldnugget pleco
2 senegals 1 albino (4 to 5 inch)

Hi ak, did the loaches pick on the eels or something? Or did they just habitually takeover his hiding spaces?

Why didn't you just create another home for the CL's? If they are cramming in that pvc tube, wouldn't another pvc tube create the same home for them?

The loaches are not picking on my big guy-Just annoying the hell out of him-Causeing eating habits to be aff-Coloration is a bit off-Just can't risk the added stress

I got plenty of other hiding spots for them to use-They just want to all cram into the same space as the eel-----I got more PVC pipe in their-Plenty of driftwood for the to hide under as well....Rocks misc decor......My 125 gal is packed....
I have raised this eel for over four years-He is one of the biggest around-As well as One of the best patterns also-I will not risk him for some loaches.....

He does have a great pattern, I wouldn't risk it either. That is one thing I love about mine too...I think he has a beautiful pattern.
